Nintendo released her first handheld system in 1980 with the launch of the Game & Watch series.
The Game & Watch system was only capable of playing a single in-built game on a small LCD screen.
In 2004 Nintendo released the DS handheld system which was an advancement on the Game Boy Advance SP console.
